Silver is a consumer health benefit program — not insurance. Gold and Platinum meet ACA Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) requirements. The Plus add-on uses a medical cost-sharing model (also not insurance) for major events.
Translation: it’s a membership. Transparent pricing, no surprise bills, no annual enrollment windows.
Virtual urgent care (Silver or Platinum): typically within minutes — 24/7, by phone or video.
Virtual primary care: usually scheduled within a few days. In-person visits (Gold or Platinum): same-day urgent care is widely available; primary and specialist scheduling varies by provider.
Routine benefits begin the first day of the month after you enroll. There’s no waiting period for pre-existing conditions on routine care.
The Plus add-on has a 6-month waiting period for maternity (conception must occur after 6 months of continuous Plus membership). Pre-existing conditions phase in over the first few years on Plus — see the Plus details page for specifics.
Yes — up to 5 dependents per plan. Spouse or domestic partner, plus unmarried children under age 26. You can add or remove dependents anytime. Pricing scales by household size and varies by tier.
If your household needs more than 5 additional members, you can purchase a second plan.
Cancel anytime from your member dashboard or by contacting support. Membership remains active through the end of the current paid billing cycle. Cancellation requests must be submitted at least 24 hours before the next billing cycle (the 24th of the month) to avoid the next charge.
Partial-period refunds are not provided. You can re-enroll later, but a gap of more than 30 days means pre-existing conditions on Plus reset to their phase-in period.
Silver and Platinum: 27,000+ included medications shipped to your home at $0 cost (covered Rx).
Gold and Platinum: tiered formulary at participating pharmacies — Tier 1 $15, Tier 2 $30, Tier 3 $50, Tier 4 $75.
Platinum gives you access to both. Check the included medications list to see what’s covered.
Plus is optional — it adds cost sharing for emergency room visits, hospitalization, surgery, ambulance, and maternity. If you want protection against major medical events, add Plus to your Gold or Platinum membership. Plus is not available on Silver alone.
You pick an IUA deductible level ($1,250, $2,500, or $5,000) at checkout. Full Plus details here.
